We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Spa & Leisure Assistant Manager to join our Team.

You will assist in the day to day running of the spa ensuring that our customers receive a high-quality experience throughout their stay, as well as performing a range of Spa Treatments.

What does the position involve?

• Monitor aspects of the leisure club and spa.
• Carrying out all aspects of beauty therapy treatments and ensuring high standards are delivered by all therapists
• Train and motivate staff ensuring targets are met and high standards are consistently maintained.
• Ensure stock levels are appropriate to business demands
• Assist in managing Spa Reception, whilst offering Treatment guidance by phone/email

What can you offer?

• Previous experience within a similar role is preferred
• NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent
• Ability to carry out a variety of treatments demonstrating confidence which include; Massage, Facials waxing, manicures and pedicures
• ESPA training would be an advantage however full training will be provided
• Jessica training would be an advantage however full training will be provided
• The spa will be operational seven days a week so flexibility with evening and weekend work is required.
• Knowledge of spa online booking systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

We have an opening for a “people person” who enjoys delivering a high level of customer service to our guests.

The main purpose of the Nigh Auditor is to ensure that the highest standards of guest care are met at all times and to take responsibility for the supervision, safety and security of guests, employees and the hotel from 10.30 pm-7.00am. The Ideal candidate should have previous experience in a similar role, security experience is advantageous along with knowledge of Opera hotel systems.

The man duties and responsibilities include:

• To handle all queries promptly ensuring the customer receives friendly and efficient response which accurately meets their demands.
• To undertake the out-of-hours check in and check out of guests, ensuring that accounts are settled before departure.
• Cash and Card handling, Key security.
• To carry out the night audit in line with company procedures.
• To carry out night security checks at the agreed times.
• To identify any maintenance issues and log them on system.
• To provide information and porterage service when requested.
• To carry out guest wake up requests on time and deliver newspapers to rooms.
• To check that only residents are on the premises once functions have finished.
• To prepare and serve any food and drink from the 24 hour menu upon request to residents
• To ensure that the public areas of the hotel and clean and tidy at all times including the fireplace
• To comply with all the company’s policies and procedures in relation to Fire, Health and Safety along with any other reasonable requests made by Management.

HOURS 40 PER WEEK 5 DAYS OUT OF 7

SALARY – Competitive.

The hotel has an opening for someone with great customer service focus and a bubbly disposition.
You will be working as part of a team, showing own initiative whilst displaying highest standards of
customer care at all times.

The role involves welcoming and checking in / checking out guests, answering the telephone, banking
responsibilities, dealing with customer enquiries and reservations accurately and promptly in the
absence of the reservations department.

The position requires flexible working hours, as shifts will involve mornings, evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate will have;
 
• Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
• Ability to demonstrate a courteous, helpful and pleasant manner
• Ability to work as an efficient, reliable and flexible team member
• Ability to use initiative when demanding situations arise
• Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with a wide range of people
• Knowledge of  System Opera or Fidelio (an advantage)
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proven IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
 
The hours are 40 per week, 5 days out of 7
