Dorian Williams Room
Named after the founder of Pendley Manor’s Shakespeare Festival and original Manor House owner, this Suite is exactly what country rooms are made of.
A luxurious four poster bed set around a Super King size bed, separate seating areas with sash windows adding a dose of romance to the room, looking over the Rose Garden and Tennis Courts. What’s more, the marble-tiled bathrooms are beautiful spaces in which to indulge and unwind.
The story behind the room
Dorian Williams was the last private owner and a BBC show jumping commentator. It was Williams that brought the arts after the second World War to Pendley Manor, inaugurating the Pendley Manor Open Air Shakespeare Festival in 1949 in the hotel grounds which continues to run to the present day.
