Details of the 2013 Pendley Shakespeare Festival productions to be confirmed
On a warm summer's evening, sixty years ago, beneath the clipped yew hedge, in dappled light, a group of actors performed scenes from Shakespeare and started an annual event that is now very high up on the social calendar.
Our Annual Open Air Shakespeare Festival is held in the first fortnight of August in the grounds of the hotel and features one play each week.
The grounds will be open from 6pm should you wish to bring a picnic, otherwise you can enjoy a traditional pre-festival dinner in our Oak Restaurant or Verney Room.
